Our sustainability journey is about ensuring that we operate responsibly, reduce our environmental footprint and create positive social value through our work. We believe meaningful progress comes through action, accountability and transparency. That's why we've embedded sustainability into our business strategy, invested in ESG expertise and set clear commitments around emissions reduction, responsible business practices and community engagement.
The journey is ongoing, but we are committed to continually improving and using our influence to help clients navigate their own sustainability challenges and opportunities.
The Journey Timeline
Where we started
until 2025...
Our sustainability journey began by embedding ESG principles into the way we operate and advise clients.
To date, we've established dedicated ESG consultancy services, invested in specialist training, strengthened stakeholder engagement and developed partnerships that support social impact and inclusion. Recognising the power of collaboration in driving meaningful change, we founded the Fort Dunlop Sustainability Network, bringing together businesses within our local community to share knowledge, inspire action and support one another on their sustainability journeys. We have also committed to reducing our operational emissions, increasing volunteering activity and ensuring sustainability remains a core part of our agency strategy.
2026 – 2030 Plan
Looking ahead to 2030, our focus is on further reducing emissions, deepening employee engagement, strengthening supply chain sustainability and expanding our ESG consultancy practice. We aim to continue building a business that balances commercial success with positive environmental and social impact, while helping clients do the same.
Certifications & Partnerships
Independent certifications, memberships and strategic partnerships help ensure our commitments are credible, measurable and continually improving. They provide accountability, challenge us to do better and demonstrate our commitment to responsible business practices.
We are proud signatories of the SME Climate Commitment and were the first PR agency to sign up to the West Midlands Net Zero Business Pledge. As members of Sustainability West Midlands and the Fort Dunlop Sustainability Network, we actively engage with organisations driving positive environmental change within the region.
Our sustainability journey also includes professional development through ISEP accreditation. We work closely with organisations including the Taylor Bennett Foundation, Smart Works Birmingham and community-focused charities that help create positive change beyond our business.
